Sir Winston Churchill was a close friend of the Pol Roger family. As a reflection of their mutual admiration then Pol created a Special Cuveee in his honour. Sir Winston liked full bodied robust Champagnes and accordingly a great deal more of Pinot Noir is used in the assemblage of this wine. Only the best grapes were used from the finest vineyards which were growing grapes in his time.
The wine is wonderfully packaged in a gift box and would make a marvellous present for someone special.
