Bordeaux 2009

BORDEAUX EN PRIMEUR 2009 "OPEN UP THE PIGGY BANK!"

2009 is considered to be "Outstanding and as good as it gets!! " in all areas!

The wines will probably be more highly rated than the 2005! The prices may well be the same or in some cases higher. I expect the campaign for the better known wines to start quite late (perhaps end April/early May and go on until quite late with the first growths perhaps released end June/Early July!)  This will allow time for smaller Estates to release between now and End of April. But who knows it is different every year.

Jane Mac Quitty  " A blockbuster!"

James Suckling The Wine Spectator "Some extraordinary wines!"

Jancis Robinson Purple Pages "I have never given so many really high scores when tasting en primeur anywhere."
