Neal Martin : 90-92 : The excellent Lanessan ’09 sports a tightly-wound nose that is well defined with blackberry, plum and cedar, earthy notes coming through with time. This demonstrated much more sense of terroir than other Medoc 2009s. The palate is full-bodied with good fruit concentration, fine balance with a rounded supple blackberry and cedar finish that retains Médocian typicité. This is a great Lanessan that should drink well over 10-15 years. Tasted March 2010."
