Winemakers Notes
The 2008 harvest in Colchagua was special. Scarce winter rainfall and a cold spring delayed budding and high summer temperatures produced smaller and more concentrated bunches with good acidity and balance.

The colour is deep red ruby. In the nose, the exuberant fruit is emphasised with great personality and highlights of ripe cherries, plums, truffles, blackberries and liquorice followed by a surge of black pepper, bay leaf, cloves and nutmeg. The oak blends in harmoniously adding to the wine’s complexity with aromas of vanilla, chocolate, coconut, graphite, tobacco, cinnamon and mocha. It possesses an interesting structure with balanced acidity, good volume and a persistent, soft and elegant finish. A wine to be enjoyed now or to await attractive evolution.
