Winemakers Notes
Low temperatures during spring produced less and smaller clusters, thereby reducing yields per hectare but providing extraordinary concentration.

During the harvest months, temperatures remained low, causing slow ripening but preserving much better the aromatic portent and acidity of the fruit. The majority of grapes came from the Casablanca Valley with some being sourced from the foothills of the Andes in Colchagua and some from Leyda. In these areas, the Los Vascos technical team constantly supervised all tasks necessary to obtain the best possible quality, thereby maintaining the consistency of this wine. A later than usual harvest enabled the team to reintegrate the vinification processes to their previous levels before the devastating earthquake of 27 February.

This wine is characterized by its soft yellow colour with green highlights. The nose expresses a complex range of aromas such as lime, white peach, prickly pear, pineapple, green apple, lychee and mango. One finds select vegetal notes of chives and boxwood. The palate is consistent, lively and fresh with good volume and a remarkable persistence. To enjoy the wine fully, it should be drunk young, within two years. While it is a great appetizer, all of its potential can be tapped with shellfish and salads. It should be served very cold at between 10-12ºC.
