2000 - Rubicon - Niebaum Coppola
Robert Parker 90 points. Outstanding ....., the deep ruby/purple-colored, medium to full-bodied 2000 Rubicon
possesses more new oak than the 1999, along with impressive richness, and notes of cedar, smoke, black currants,
and meaty/forest floor characteristics. It does not have the concentration, power, or aging potential of the 1999,
but it will provide delicious drinking now and over the next decade.
Order Rubicon 2000 @ £300 Per Case (6x75cl)
2001 - Paraduxx Red - Duckhorn
A unique blend of Zinfandel and Bordelaise varietals. Produces a full bodied with
generous soft tannins. The aroma reveals a profusion of fruits including blackberries, blueberries,
plums and black cherries, which are complemented by notes of vanilla, toasted coconut and cedar.
Order Paraduxx Red 2001 @ £330 Per Case (12x75cl)
1999 - Trilogy - Flora Spring
Robert Parker 90 points. Its elegance and finesse are nicely balanced by the wine's considerable
richness. A dense ruby/purple color is followed by aromas of malt chocolate, cocoa, black cherries,
currants, licorice, and earth. The wine is medium to full-bodied, pure, and ripe, with nicely integrated
acidity and tannin. It will drink well for 12-15 years
Order Trilogy 1999 @ £345 Per Case (12x75cl)
1999 - Magnificat - Franciscan
Wine Spectator 87 points. Good intensity, balanced toward elegance and finesse, with appealing currant, light oak, tobacco and cedary notes.
Order Magnificant 1999 @ £270 Per Case (12x75cl)
1999 - Cabernet Sauvignon - Montelena Estate
Robert Parker 95 points. The 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is considered by Bo Barrett to be a "great" year. The wine boasts a saturated inky/purple color as well as extraordinary density of fruit and cassis, and huge tannin, body, and extract. It is a substantial, palate-staining, long, muscular Cabernet that should only be purchased by connoisseurs with cold cellars as well as patience. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2030
Order Cabernet Sauvignon 1999 @ £600 Per Case (12x75cl)
